TOMBLIN SUPPORTER BARACK OBAMA WANTS TO SHUT DOWN WEST VIRGINIA COAL

Latest EPA overreach will kill jobs and economy

MORGANTOWN — Bill Maloney, Republican gubernatorial candidate, today denounced the latest attack on West Virginia coal by the EPA and Earl Ray Tomblin supporter Barack Obama. A proposal for creating new standards regarding greenhouse gas emissions from coal fired power plants will be announced today in Washington.

“Earl Ray Tomblin supporter Barack Obama is doing exactly what he promised he would do: bankrupt the coal industry,” said Bill Maloney. “How many more job losses can West Virginia families take at the hands of Earl Ray Tomblin and Barack Obama?”

Maloney added, “Earl Ray Tomblin refuses to fight back against Obama. I will actively campaign against Obama. I will do everything I can to make sure Barack Obama does not get re-elected.”

During last year’s special election, the Barack Obama-supported Democratic Governor’s Association spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on false, negative attacks against Maloney.

“Obama and his friends in Washington were willing to say and do anything to get Tomblin elected, so it is no surprise that Earl Ray will not fight back,” concluded Maloney.
